Supermoon, Frolic, and Pandemic Puzzle

Did you know that tonight is the pink supermoon, which if there is no cloud cover, will be the biggest moon we see in 2020. We have to have things to look forward to people... and this is the thing for today... looking forward to sitting outside in the dark with my winter coat on looking at the sky.

In the quilt studio, Frolic is on the design wall. I sew parts for it everyday and it just seems to go on and on. See how it's so big that it doesn't fit on the design wall and is actually pinned on the right side to a mini quilt hanging on the wall!??

And I finished my third 1,000 piece pandemic puzzle! Because sometimes I'm just too tired to even sew, which is totally a pandemic response. This puzzle is made by White Mountain. On their website it says that they are currently overwhelmed with puzzle orders... seems lots of folks are enjoying this relaxing hobby.

Love your Frolic blocks. I did not participate in that mystery. ...just keep sewing! I love your colors for Frolic.

It's crazy how much time this years Mystery takes. To get all the parts sewn, and keeping them straight. I need a clear mind to work on mine. Still making blocks, and setting triangles. You can do this. I'll keep cheering us on.

Love your quilt - it's coming along nicely. I'm also interested in the puzzle you did - I'm a retired elementary school librarian, and love your puzzle. Could you give me the name of the puzzle? Thank you!

I have had a couple evenings of tv watching and doing nothing. But burst of energy hit when I least expect them.

Frolic is just lovely. I plan to view the nice big moon this evening while enjoying a game of hoops with the monsters. We need to get a puzzle out.. the kids are having lots of schoolwork time now that they are doing virtual learning.

I thought of you as I was sewing some little blocks together for a little quilt. Let's see if I can finish it tonight.

Your puzzle is so cute--must have been lots of fun to put together! I really like your version of Frolic. I have the instructions saved but probably will never get around to making one myself, so I'm very impressed! I only got a tiny peek at the moon before in was hidden in clouds--hope you got a better view.

There was an article in the NYT about the enormous popularity of jigsaw puzzles and how the puzzle makers can't keep up with the demand, selling more in one day than they usually sell in a month. Maybe I'll clear the dining room table and commandeer it for a puzzle.
My frolic is semi-abandoned and I'm not sure it will be resurrected. We were away for 10 weeks, starting before the reveal and that break has broken my concentration. Too many other projects are calling my name.

Frolic is looking good!

I had not considered a surge in puzzles, but I can totally see that! Puzzles are fun! Love the one that you just finished! :)

I like that puzzle. I haven't done a puzzle in quite a while (except online).
