It's pretty darn good if I do say so myself. And it only took about 4 tries! There has been more pulling and tugging and fudging in this quilt than any other I have ever made (with the notable exception of the IOP!)
But it matches up on this corner fairly well.
I probably should have mitered that green border, but too late now!
It has been very cold and windy here this week and snow season has started. It's great quilting weather!

Looks great Kathy - I knew you could do it!
The weather has been crazy! January temps and snow in November grrr or is that brrr !@#@@!
We aren't Buffalo but we are sure getting lots of snow. You are doing great on your borders and here's a quick trick for ya! If you don't mind unsewing the corner a bit, you could put a hst unit in the green border at the corner and it will look like you mitred it!!
If you are interested!!! just saying
Congrats on getting that corner done. It looks great.
Good job on that corner - looks fantastic! We had 3 days of snow while we were gone ... there's a little snow left here and there where the sun doesn't shine much. We're going to get warmer temps with some rain this weekend, so all the snow will be gone.
Beautiful job on that corner--not an easy thing to do! could we maybe skip January as we are having it now and just go on to Feb from here??? No?? I didn't think so...no snow here on the Coast but pretty cold and windy. Hoping for a warmer weekend....hugs, Julierose
That looks great Kathy! Great job. Love the snowy picture..... much better than the frost I had to scrape off the windshield this morning (in Florida!). 32 degrees F this morning. I don't expect this weather anymore until January/February. Brrrr.
Hooray! Only three more to go!!!!
I knew you could do it! Freezing drizzle keeping the kids on a 2-hour delay here. Hoping the weatherman is wrong about the week-end weather. I'll have to find more quilts to put on the BEDS!
the border looks great - that kind can be a pain in the butt!
Spectacular! It just shows if we face our fears we can defeat them! Great border for a great quilt!
Good job on the corner! And your snow picture is beautiful! Glad you have a hobby to keep you busy indoors.
Great job on the border and I like the greens the way you did them.
Boy, and I thought it was cold here in GA.
Standing ovation as I clap wildly and cheer! Now you are on your way to finishing this quilt that has been nagging for so long. You quieted it down with one fabulous corner. :)
Stay warm and stay safe!
The corner looks great and the pieced border is going to make your beautiful quilt even more awesome!
I commend you for your tenacity. You stuck with it, made it work, and it looks great!
I would have never been able to get my corner to line up that well!
That corner looks great!
Brrr....that looks cold. I'd head for the sewing room too.
Good job!
Great corner! Stay warm and cosy!
Way to go girl!
Congratulations - we all knew you could do it. If I remember your stop border was pieced - so I don't think a miter would look right - leave it as it is.
Yep! That corner looks very good. It looks like a corner made by someone who knows what she is doing. Keep going! ;^)
Well done. I'm so glad for you that you pushed forward and got this done. It looks terrific.
