Scrappy Saturday

This month the RSC'ers are sewing light blue scraps. I cut up some of the blue scraps that were hanging around my cutting table. Some of them aren't very "light" blue, but  that's okay. It's a start for the month.
To see what the other scrappers are sewing today, hop over to SoScrappy.

Yesterday's shop hop was lots of fun. I found a few little treasures that needed to come home with me. You can never have enough neutrals, right?!?

I found a few FQ's to add to my QPOM Berenstain Bears blocks.

And look at this great snail fabric that I found! I just love it and plan to have a little giveaway tomorrow for Slow Sunday Stitching.

I've been trying to decide whether to make spools or not with my scraps. Seeing yours is just the gentle push I needed. They look lovely. All the fabric is fabulous and you're right....you can never have enough neutrals!

You are so right about the neutrals. You can't make a quilt without them. Beautiful spools too. Love the delicate shades of blue

What a dramatic switch from dark colored scraps to light blue!
Those snails are so cute--and if you are into selvedges, that is a very fun design on that one. : )

Always love seeing your little spools come to life :) The light blues look so happy. Isn't fabric acquisition fun? I did a little of that myself yesterday ;) I didn't see the snail fabric though - that's too cute!!!!

Sounds like you had a great day at your hop to end your week. Cute snail fabrics. Love your spools as always.... Hmmm maybe that could be the 'traditional' block for me next year? =)

So true. We must have neutrals.
I'm beginning to think I need to do some of those little spool blocks with my small scraps next year.

Very pretty spool blocks. I'm way behind on the RSC stuff.

You found lots of pretty goodies during your hop.
