This is the largest quilt I've ever made and measures 93" x 84". It takes up the whole wall in my quilt studio! The photo isn't great because it was taken indoors at night, but you get the idea.
This was my fabric collection that I started with for this 2010 Bonnie Hunter mystery.
I loved it then and I think it made a terrific quilt, although it was kind of like a long and painful labour to birth this quilt baby! LOL
This quilt was quite an accomplishment for me since it was my first time making seminole borders and it was a challenge indeed. But I am happy with how it all turned out and pleased as punch to have a finished quilt top!
To see more finishes for November, hop over to A Lovely Year of Finishes link up. And to see more progress being made on the "Bonnie UFO Challenge", hop over to Jo's Country Junction.

A big thank you to Bonnie Hunter for this pattern and for all the fun she has given us quilters over the years.
And now....
Bonnie's next mystery called Grand Illusion starts on Friday over at Quiltville. You can see my fabric choices here. Are you joining in the fun? All the Hot Quilters are doing it! LOL

Your work is beautiful!! And it all fits and is flat...yahoo!!!
Congratulations on finishing RRCB! I didn't do that mystery, I was a little scared :) 2 friends convinced me to do Easy Street and now I'm hooked! I can't wait to see Grand Illusion! I'm doing mine in the same colors as Bonnie. I did that with Celtic Solstice and also Easy Street and love both quilts so I'm trusting her again.
I can't wait to see your progress with using a different color palette.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Oh Kathy it is gorgeous! You were rewarded well for facing those borders - I think they add so much to the quilt.
Congrats on the finish. It turned out beautifully!
Awesome finish! It's beautiful!
Phew! you made it.... it looks great. ready for another gazillion teeny tiny squares and triangles on Friday :)

Congratulations!!!!! I know you have been wanting to finish this one up for a while now - doesn't it feel GREAT??? I'm so happy for you, and your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! Those fabrics are perfect :)
Very very very beautiful, BRAVO !
I love how it turned out. Your colors are terrific. Happy Thanksgiving!
It's beautiful. I love the border.
your quilt has turned out lovely - now on to quilting it have you decided if you will be doing it by hand or by machine. I am hooked on making large quilts and tend to make more very large quilts than small ones - I use the large quilts more. You may have had difficulty with your border but it turned out so pretty it was worth the trouble I bet.
She is magnificent!! A real beauty!! What a good feeling finishing this one must be!! Good for you!

Great job! Your RRCB is beautiful and you're more than halfway finished with your UFOs!
Yeah...you met your goal! It looks great too.
WOOHOO!! And a great big pat on the back!! You did great to get it done. And now you can concentrate on the new mystery.
It's beautiful, Kathy! All that hard work and frustration with the border certainly paid off big time!
I guess I fit in the "not-so-hot" quilter category. Don't plan to do Grand Illusion. Not a good track record for me with Bonnie's mysteries. I have Easy Street still unassembled and Celtic Solstice drafted as a mini and never started. Orca Bay is a flimsy--that is one positive, kind of. : )
Congratulations, Kathy, it looks wonderful. Great job!
Yes, I am! I've never done one before, but I'm hopping on the bus this year!
Way to go girl! Super finish! Grand quilt - no wait that's the next one coming up on Friday!
Fabulous finish! The nicest cotton boll I have seen. The borders were worth the effort!
