UFO Update

There is one week to go in the month of July, and it's not looking good for meeting my UFO goal. Progress has definitely been made, but there is still so much to sewing to do, and not much time left in the month.
Here are the 42 blocks together so far. There are 6 blocks remaining blocks to sew and attach to this quilt top. Okay so, each block has 49 pieces, which means only 294 pieces to sort out this week... plus sashing (if desired) and borders...

Here are all the border units sewn together in sections and ready to join. I haven't figured out the corner blocks yet. So much to do...
Will she meet her goal or will she not?!?
Hop over to the weekly design wall link up to see how other quilters are living on the edge!

  1. Some UFO'S just need more time... It's not a very old one yet. The next Mystery hasn't been posted yet. I read Bonnie's is working on it this week!!

  2. I think you can do it, Kathy. Just don't waste any time with insignificant things like working, eating, sleeping, or especially not on housework!!

  3. Yummy colors to play with! Fingers crossed you get a good chunk more finished on this one.

  4. Even if you don't meet your goal of a finish...you will have accomplished more work on the top and progressed toward a finish and that is good!!

  5. It’s summer! I’m not going to make my goals either. But the good weather beckons me outdoors!

  7. I haven't sewn a stitch since the 21st (Michigan TOGA). I'm hoping to get in my sewing room later today or tomorrow. It was a nursery until late Sunday night.
