A couple more blue blocks were added to the Maverick Star collection this week. This a slow growing, no pressure project... just the way I like my quilting to be! The star points are mostly corners cut off of flying geese blocks. This is a free Bonnie Hunter pattern (click here) and uses up lots of scraps.

How big are your blocks?
Super cute blocks!!
love your stars I will check out Bonnie's patterns, I have been looking for more scrap patterns to use up stash
Colorful and love those stars - they have become popular again.
Very fun little stars!
Those are very yummy. Personally I am all about no pressure quilting. I have many projects that are moseying along without a real strong plan ☺️
Great stars. I love Bonnie Hunter's patterns.
I just took Bonnie's Wonky Wishes class in Bedford, PA. It uses maverick stars with scrappy dark backgrounds and light neutral (Bonnie style) star points. Fun. I like your stars.

I love the way you have light and dark backgrounds. It adds lots of variety.
I love how your stars seem to sparkle!
Lovely BLUE blocks added to your project!
A very happy project. I like the alternating values in the backgrounds.
I prefer my projects to be pressure free, too, but I also want them to be DONE!! Your patience always amazes me. : )
I love your blocks. They are so cheerful.
Such fun stars! I think I need to use some of my spare triangles to make some of these sometime soon.
So many fun scraps. Always fun to let projects grow at their own pace.
