Empty Design Wall

Nothing is on my design wall today.
That is a rare occurrence here in my quilt studio.
I am trying to stay focused on my UFO of the month, which is the bear quilt. I finally attached the last two borders (a light, and a dark green) and here is a photo of the next stage of quilting - pin basting.
It's not a fun task, but it is necessary to move to the next fun task, which is the machine quilting step.
To see some design wall postings, hop over to Small Quilts.

Stay on task. Your bear quilt is gorgeous! Baste, quilt, bind. Hold that line... (My cheerleading days are over, but I'm still happy to cheer on quilters getting rid of UFO's.) Happy sewing!

You will have this quilt done by the end of the month, for sure! I'm looking forward to seeing how you quilt it.

Congrats on all the progress on this month's UFO! It's hard to stick with the tasks we don't like as much.

I applaud you for forging ahead with the basting. I tend to stall there (which is evidenced by all the flimsies hanging in the closet). : )

Glad you're sticking to finishing the bear paw quilt. It's so fun and adorable. Can't wait to see it all quilted and finished. --Andrea

I need to focus in on finishing something really soon! I always admire that you persevere with a UFO until it's finished up :) I'm thinking about making a picnic quilt I need to look into an appropriate backing.
