Scrappy Saturday

Here are more blocks for my ever growing  Alamo Star collection. I keep thinking that I will get tired of making these little cuties, but I've been making them for 4 years now and still enjoy them as much as ever. Some of them are 2 fabric blocks, but my favourites are the ones that are totally scrappy and use up very tiny pieces of fabric about the size of a thumb nail.
Perhaps this is a sickness that has taken me over? Maybe I need to join a 12 step program?
Hop over to the Rainbow Scrap Challenge link up to see what the quilters are creating with their yellow and orange scraps this week.

Love the rich colors in these blocks. This is going to be such a gorgeous quilt when you finally start stitching all these little blocks together.

I have to admit, I don't keep scraps that small, but when I see what you've done with them, I think I ought to change my mind! Those little stars aree so pretty!

LOL - how many quilts can you make with them after four years? Thanks for the link. They're so cute.

I don't think you're going to find a self help program in this bunch. We love those little bits and won't even share our favorites with anyone. Love, love the stars.

If you need a 12 step program then I'm right there with you!! (Just replace your Alamo Stars with my Tiny Nines.)

Well, if you need an intervention and a 12 step program and decide you need these out of sight and mind then I'll send you my address! (I can see why you are addicted).

No 12 step program for viewers although seeing them is addicting too. They are so happy and wonderful I enjoy everytime you show them.

If you find a 12 step program... please let us all know. I think I need one for blockitis.... I keep making blocks but they keep ending up as collections of blocks!

They are soooooo cute. Don't let them languish in a box forever. Sew them together for some awesome blocks and quilts.
