Welcome to the weekly Slow Sunday Stitching party!
If you enjoy hand stitching of any kind, then you have found your tribe! You are welcome to join us here every Sunday and learn how we keep ourselves stitched together... it's one stitch at a time!
If you're anything like me, you have multiple hand stitching projects in progress at one time. I have a couple of half finished knitted cloths, an abandoned EPP class project, a large multi year hand quilting project, a quilt-as-you-go project, and 2 hand embroidery projects! Especially during the covid pandemic, I only want to spend my free time doing what brings me joy.
Today I will be adding stitches to this embroidery project (design by Joy). Even though I have a couple of designs traced, this one keeps attracting my interest.
What are you hand stitching today? We enjoy seeing the great variety of hand stitching projects each Sunday, so we hope you will link up your blog or instagram post below and share your slow progress with us.

I like the word "create" you have stitched. Your stitchery is coming along nicely. These are all great, life affirming words. Enjoy your stitching.
Happy Stitching, Kathy.
I am very grateful for my manual skills. They have really been my sane salvation during these dark times of the Pandemic.
It is always good to have choices when it comes to hand stitching projects! Enjoy your quiet time stitching today.
An “ abandoned EPP project”, oh no! I went back and read your 2019 post. It seems like that was a different life, and I guess it was.
Good memories.
I have picked up cross stitching again. So my advice is Stitch what you love. I tried to include a picture but that how-to escapes me.
I enjoy your posts, Kathy. Thank you.
Christine
So funny. The next two blogs I read after yours, Pinkernpunkin and The Cozy Quilter, were going to link up with Kathy for Slow Sunday Stitching. Crazy - you and I.

Your embroidery project is looking fabulous. I really like this piece thank you for providing the link. Happy stitching.
I like the project you are working on. I just had to watch some videos to refresh my embroidery memory.
It's always meaningful to stitch words. Glad you're enjoying the slow stitching.
I am about the same as you, several applique projects, 2 embroidery projects, a washcloth I forgot where I was, and an EPP project. I have to get some of these things done! Thanks so much for continuing to invite us to share our Slow Stitching Sunday projects!
Oh another couple words for your stitching...."imagine" "laugh" you need both to be a good quilter!
