It is full steam ahead in my sewing room with the new Quiltville mystery that started last week. I am making my quilt from scraps and have enjoyed digging through the neutral and dark blue bins, pulling out pieces that could be used in this project. It's like looking into a memory/souvenir box and saying "oh I remember that project/fabric/designer", "this was leftover from Grandma's quilt", and "that can't be used because there is only a small piece left and I love it"! Totally ridiculous!
Here are 9 sets of HST's pressed and ready for trimming of the dog ears. This is the perfect project for me to work on now. I love these scraps and it's mindless sewing! Part 2 is coming on Friday and I will be ready!Linking up to Design Wall Monday over at Judy's

lol. that sounds like me too! "I can't use it I love it too much and only have this little bit left"...and then my sister pointed out that if I used it in the quilt I could love it every time the quilt was used and not just when I was digging thru the scrap bin. I am collecting the parts for Bonnie's quilt but can't start until after the holidays. It gets to be my January reward for making it that far!! Don't you love the blue? I can't wait to see yours progress.
Haven't started yet but thinking about it. Will have to pull fabric soon or i won't do it. I did a more conteolled one last year and liked ot so might do the same this year.

I made mine using Triangulations instead. I'll pull the papers off while I'm watching Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night.
