Slow Sunday Stitching

Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party! It's a safe way to hang out with friends, enjoy some relaxing stitching time and there is a 0% chance of getting covid! Staying safe at home is the goal these days and stitching helps you to stay sane while you're at home.

I am ready to stitch the chocolate bar on my embroidered tea towel and hope to get this finished today. I'm also knitting a Santa dishcloth but just got started on that. It's time to get busy finishing up Christmas gifts!

What are you working on today? Are you trying to finish some Christmas gifts while you watch Christmas shows? A Christmas Story is one of our favourites! Link up your blog post below and share your hand stitching projects with us.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Here's to watching Christmas movies while we all enjoy a little hand stitching. The Santa dishcloth is cute. Enjoy your day stitching your fun tea towel. Why, I wouldn't mind a bar of chocolate right now.

I wish I had actually thought about handmade Christmas gifts this year, but instead I will be scrolling through online sites for gifts and praying I can get them in time. Somehow the holidays surprised me this year. I have been enjoying the Hallmark Christmas movies. Somehow I have never liked A Christmas Story. I have several friends who just can't understand that. Give me The Santa Clause and White Christmas.

I am trying to finish a Christmas gift (my son's Spider quilt) while watching Elf. I LOVE that movie! Happy stitching. And you're right... just stay away from others right now.

I haven't watched that movie in several years - I used to watch it ever year I think I finally got tired of it but might check and see if it is on today while I do some crochet.

I have two more tea towels to get done. The challenge is that the tea towels are gray and I couldn't iron the transfers on. My daughter was afraid her husband would wipe up something like spaghetti sauce with the white. Haven't started watching the Christmas movies yet, but love that one!

I have not started on Christmas gifts--we exchange really only with our kids/grandkids, and a couple of friends. The family is too big!

Yummy chocolate color for your stitchery today.

Surprisingly, I have never seen A Christmas Story. Elf is my favorite!
