Scrappy Saturday

It's time to clear away the yellow scraps of October and finish up some blocks. Here are the yellow waffle blocks sewn this month. Each block has 10 little 1.5" squares of scrappy goodness. It's almost like an "I Spy" quilt in miniature.

Here is the majority of the collection of waffle blocks made so far. These are great scrap buster blocks and will make an interesting quilt.

And these are the October blocks being added to the Easy Breezy collection.

I haven't made any yellow mini arrowhead blocks yet, so that has to be finished before I can start on the November colour scraps.

Your Waffle Blocks are adorable. Such a fun way to put together 1.5 inch squares.

I have to say... those waffle blocks are looking great all together. Your easy breezy blocks in yellow are sparkling and fun. Lots of little bits getting sewn up at your house this month.

love your waffle blocks I did one something like that a couple years ago and it was a great scrap user but of course still have tons of scraps left to use (we never run out do we)

Those block collections are growing nicely, Kathy! What color option are you going with for November? LIGHT Neutrals or Multi-colored prints? Looking forward to seeing what this month will bring.

I love your waffle blocks, too, and will begin mine as one of my 2021 RSC projects. And the Easy Breezys are darling too!

Love the waffle blocks--I have just finished sewing 60 strips of 2.5" squares in rows...so they could be the start of a Wonderful Waffle quilt --yours are so lovely all together rainbow style...
Hugs, (we are doing our "Happy Dance" here with Biden winning today)

The best thing about a scrappy quilt is that there are so many fun things to look at in it! Those waffle blocks are perfect for that kind of quilt!

Those waffle blocks pull me in whenever I see them. So far I have resisted their siren call, but they sure are delightful!
