Scrappy Saturday

orange arrowheads
I finished 4 more orange arrowhead blocks for one of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects. I still really enjoy sewing these blocks. The instructions are free here.  My blocks finish at 3" so they are a smaller version than the pattern shows.

I also finished up the green blocks I had cut last month but didn't get sewn in January.
There are over 70 blocks in my collection now, and I am still enjoying making them, so this project will continue for a while longer.

I also sewed together the RSC 2018 Squared Away sampler blocks.

I'm impressed with that grey alternate fabric and how it helps to make the blocks stand out. I'm calling this one "B whooo U R" and I think it will get 2 or 3 more borders.
Hop over to the weekly link up to see more scrappy projects being sewn.

70 blocks and still growing? Boy, it's going to be a huge, and pretty quilt! Love your B whooo U R (and the name too!!)

Every time I see your Arrowhead blocks, I am tempted to start making some. I'm trying to resist, but it's so hard!
I love the way your Squared Away blocks look with that grey alternate fabric!

I love how the Squared Away blocks are turning out. That background fabric does make them pop. What size will the quilt be when finished?

I tried making a couple Anita's Arrowhead blocks in the normal size a few years ago and did not enjoy the process so they are in the orphan block box. Your little 3 inch cuties have me tempted to give them another try.

B Whoooo U R? Clever like the background choice.

Love your Squared Away! Very similar to the Tiny Tuesday blocks seems to me. The Arrowhead blocks look fantastic!! Glad you said what size they were as they look bigger online. Have a great week!

That gray fabric is really great. It sets off the blocks very well.
