Clarissa is on the design wall

It's the last week of May and I'm fairly close to meeting my UFO goal this month. The final Clarissa block was made and the layout decided. There was a lot of moving blocks around and you know how that goes... fix one thing you don't like and create another problem you don't like even more. So finally, with the end of month deadline looming, I just started sewing the sashing to the blocks.
The quarter square triangle blocks are the cornerstones of the white sashing, but I'm not sure about what to do around the outside? A plain white border? With or without QST cornerstones? The decision making agony process will be dramatically shortened due to the end of month OMG deadline, which is probably a good thing.

I love the cornerstones! I vote for a continuation of the white border with the cornerstones! This is going to be a beautiful quilt!

That is looking really good Kathy. I like the cornerstones and I think a white outer border would be perfect.

Looking at the thumbnail photo I thought this was a different block. I am very impressed by all those quarter square triangles, and love the colours. I think the corner stones look great. You are so close to being finished.

This would be challenging as far as setting the blocks! So many choices as far as placements! But it will be a beauty!

Go, Go, Go!! You can do it! I like the sashing/cornerstones so far and I think that would be a great border. xoxo

Sometimes, last minute deadline sewing creates the most stunning quilts. Your blocks look wonderful!

I vote sashing with cornerstones. I think it will "finish" the edges.

Block Switcheroo is a game with no ending--I sometimes have to set a timer :) Looking very nice, Kathy. That is a lot of seams to match!

I like the sashing and cornerstones too, and agree a white border would be smashing.

Yes white border with cornerstones...keep the plan going into the border then maybe one blueish border!! Another finish..that will make three this month...that's fantastic!

The cornerstones are good. What will the sashing be? Good luck with the deadline.

The sashing, besides separating the blocks and making a bigger quilt, lets each block shine. Side by side, it is sort of a mish mash.
I think I remember you mentioning that you work outside the home. You get a lot of sewing done regardless. I always managed to get a lot of sewing done when I worked.
