Pink Omigosh blocks |
For three years I sewed the double 9 patch blocks and have made 93 of those so far.
I started sewing the alternate Shoofly variation in March last year and have only made 14 of those so far. Here are a couple of other blocks made in the last 2 weeks.
It's such a wonderful way to make a quilt... no pressure, no deadlines, just a leisurely sewing of blocks and putting them into the project box in the closet as they are made. It's fun to watch the pile of blocks grow!

I also like to make a big quilt this way. One block every week or month...’o pressure, they just pile up and then, suddenly, there are enough for a quilt! I am loving to see all your scraps!
Those blocks are wonderful in pink, Kathy! That's going to be an amazing quilt! I've been enjoying seeing blocks for a quilt pile up over time, too.
NINETY-THREE!! I think it is time to make a quilt or maybe two or three!!!
that quilt has been on my list for such a long time. I have always wanted to make it - I think the way you are doing it makes it very doable! One day - I don't know I have such a long list of "one day" quilts to make
Wow, it's going to be a huge, and beautiful quilt! Great pink blocks
I love your Omigosh blocks and am impressed with your progress and stick-to-it-iveness! And surprising for me personally is that I love them and am so tempted to try them!
Love all of those pinks for Omigosh.
Nice job! This is one of my favorite quilts. You are making lots of good progress. Sometimes I like the making more than the having. Life's a journey. . .
Lovely PINK blocks to add to your collection. EVENTUALLY, you will have all the blocks needed to complete the quilt!!
Great pink blocks to add to your quilt! It will be a pretty one!
