Scrappy Saturday - Red

For the month of July we are working with our red scraps over at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I cut and sewed some of my red scraps to make 36 more spool blocks.
I just have to sew them together in groups of 4 and am looking forward to finishing them up today.
Hop over to SoScrappy to see more red scrap postings.

Love seeing so many red spools together! This could be a wall hanging all by itself!

What great variety in your reds. They make the little spools so much more interesting.

Do you have a goal for the size of quilt you will make with your bowties, or will you just make them through the year and the quilt will be whatever size it ends up?

Such pretty red spools! They make me think of an antique quilt.

I never thought of sewing the spools together in groups of four with sashing. Hmmmm... I think I like that layout. Now maybe I have enough for a large quilt!
