February Goals

What am I going to work on this month? My primary goal is to finish last year's Cupid box project so I can open the 2023 Cupid box with a clear conscious! LOL

It won't be a hardship to work on since I love the quilt and the fabrics. I haven't been motivated yet to quilt it since I don't have any ideas for the design.

Do you have any inspired quilting ideas for me?

Maybe straight line quilting, following the bottom left edge of the hearts (all going the same direction).

Why not try simple quilt in or near the ditch, outlining the hearts, making them pop up out of the background.

How about something that looks like arrows? Just saying. I'm sure you will come up with something cute. ;^)

Stitch in the ditch around all the hearts, some kind of background fill in the white parts, scallops or swirls in the pinks and reds. :)

A hundred years ago, during the SewCalGal FMQ Challenge, I recall doing a paisley-type quilt design, using stylized hearts as the paisley. Don't remember where I saw it first, but it was fun to quilt. Swirly, loopy, and free-form. But maybe that isn't what you are looking for here.

I would just straight ling right across like CHeryl said. Start at the bottom and work up the quilt - even change the spacing randomly for texture interest.

Put a feathered heart in each heart extending to the outer edge of each one, the use a meander fill in the negative spaces. It is going to be amazing whatever you decide.

This is such a cute quilt. I'm sure it will look great no matter what you decide to do for the quilting.

It's such a pretty design I hope you find a quilting pattern you like soon. I always have the same problem deciding how to quilt my beautiful tops!
