You know how that goes when it's a scrap quilt being made from leftovers (from Save The Bees). I have to decide what I like, and what fabric I have available. It needs sashing to bring it up to a useable size. But what kind of sashing? Gold? Grey? Narrow at 1.5" or wider at 2.5"?
Cornerstones or no?
All of these decisions will be made once the blocks are finished being sewn. If you have any ideas, let me know!

nice blocks...most attractive colors too!
Decisions, decisions, decisions. Good luck. I am not any help because I change my mind usually about these things often during the process. I like your colors, and any you choose will go well with the blocks.
Wow, pretty. I think I would do the 2 1/2" strips in the lighter brown, third one down. And use a medium brown for the cornerstones , like in column 1, 3 down.
Oh Kathy, I really like the colors in this quilt. I made a Quilting Life BOM years ago (2017?) and we still use it in the camper. I definitely used sashing and cornerstones but the blocks back then didn't have the two borders around them.
Those are fun blocks. I feel like the wider brown sashing tries to take over the quilt, while the narrower grey sashing allows the blocks to shine--with just those little pops of black for the cornerstones to add an interesting design element. It will be interesting to see what clicks for you once all the blocks are made.
They are very pretty blocks. Good luck with making your decision.
I like a 2" sashing so it ends up 1.5". Light tan would be good if you have it! Fun stuff, getting the 2022 projects finished here too.
It might be a bit different, but I think red or maybe green sashing would look good with the gold too.
The many suggestions are going to confuse you more - lol!! I like the white with black corner stone - softens the whole quilt. I think a brown sashing would wash out your pretty blocks and they should be the highlight in this piece.
Whichever you choose, it will be a wonderful quilt.
I always stall out at the setting stage when I have BOMs. There are so many options and if you really like the blocks you want to do it right. Good luck with your decisions.
I just finished a top from scraps and little bits. My biggest issue now is finding something for the backing that will go with the binding I have chosen. As for your sashing....I like a colour that is closest to your background(around the outside edge of your blocks)light grey it looks like! Narrow sash with corner stone of black or dark blue.Good luck, can't wait to see the finished product.
