Welcome to the weekly Slow Sunday Stitching party! Pull out your hand work and join us as we work on our stitching projects. Even if you don't have much time today, just put in a few stitches and enjoy the relaxation you will feel.
Since I finished my word meditation last week, I have been working on my new embroidery project - the Serenity Prayer. I started with the words and will save the fun butterfly and flowers for last.
The weather here turned to summer this week (spring lasted for a week) so I'm excited to be stitching outdoors today!
What are you hand stitching today? Are you able to stitch outdoors where you live? Like up your blog or instagram post below and share you project with us.

I like your new stitching piece. We went from cool wintry weather to awfully humid and sticky. It is springlike in temperature, but too humid to comfortably stitch outside. I would love to be able to relax and stitch on my front porch.
I did some stitching in our gazebo this past week. I love stitching outside but must admit I can get distracted by the birds, squirrels and flowers from time to time. Your new embroidery project will provide hours of enjoyment and contemplation.
I have always loved that prayer. Your new embroidery will be lovely. We had a cool spring that catapulted directly into 90 degree F with 50% humidity. Where the heck did the spring go?
Still nada. Things have just been too crazy here. I've even been doing binding by machine just to get things done. Once I am past the quilt show, maybe things will settle a bit.
Such a pretty new embroidery project to work on and how lovely to be able to spend some time outdoors as you stitch. I too have been enjoying some outdoor stitch time this weekend. Have a lovely day and thank you for hosting the link party.
Same here - one week of spring and now summer! Crazy weather which I accept I cannot change. Yes, I'm able to stitch outdoors and enjoy it.
Enjoy your stitching, today.
I was in need to calm down and The Serenidy Prayer is perfect . Thanks for the remind.
Lovely stitching!
Spring lasted about a week here, too! No rain to speak of, very horribly dry :(
