Slow Stitching Sunday

Hello stitchers! Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party where we hope you will get lots of inspiration and encouragement from other bloggers to help you on your stitching journey!

I have been working on a UFO this month, and am finally hand stitching the binding. As you likely know, this is my favourite part of the quilt making process. The project is nearing completion and all the decisions have been made. It's time for the enjoyment of finishing!

What are you hand stitching today? Are you finishing any of your projects? Link up your blog post below and share your progress with us.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Aah...the binding....'tis my least favourite part of fashioning a quilt. =) Enjoy stitching the binding on your lovely quilt.

Isn't it funny how you either love sewing the binding or hate it! I'm afraid I'm on the side of least favourite! Enjoy sewing your binding! Have a great day

I'll be plugging away on my Roll With It stitchery piece today. Not much progress on it this past week.

Your last post's question mark blocks sure look pretty in those gorgeous colours and fabrics, Kathy. I have a tendency to want to rush the binding part though it is certainly a time to relish the finishing of a project. Happy Stitching!

I'm never sure why people hate to work on the binding! it means you are done and you can wash that quilt and get it on your bed or pass it on as a gift or whatever - you are now ready to get started quilting another quilt right! whats to hate about binding

I'm in the "love to bind" category too but I'm not sure I can say it is my favorite part of making a quilt.

Hooray for finishing a UFO! That means you can start at least 3 or 4 new projects, doesn’t it?

Binding! Quilters either love it or hate it. I'm with you, it's so satisfying hand stitching the binding down.
