Slow Sunday Stitching

Welcome to the weekly celebration of all hand stitched crafts! We hope you will join us in setting aside time each Sunday for some relaxing stitching on your favourite project. Pick up a needle and thread, breathe deeply, and enjoy a few moments of restful stitching.

This past week had me hand stitching 237" of binding to finish a lap quilt and a mini quilt before the end of September. And if you didn't enter the draw for the Nancy Halvorsen pattern, you can do that today if you are interested - click here to leave a comment on that post and put your name in the hat.

This past week I also did a bit of hand embroidery, and finished another knitted cloth. I took a fancy photo to show that the cloth matched the colour of the flowers in the window boxes of my garden shed. But the photo doesn't show the seahorse design at all! Oh well... such are the trials of a blogger!

What are you hand stitching today? We love to see what you are creating, so link up your blog below and share your project with us!

That's a lot of binding to stitch! Your dishcloth is such a pretty colour and yes it harmonises with the climbing mandevilla beautifully.

Now that you told me there is a seahorse I can make it out. So glad you finished that pretty quilt.

I see it! Sometimes, it’s easier to see the pictures on these clothes when the light is going across the cloth ...it does match your flowers very well! Raining here today so a wonderful day to sit inside and stitch or knit.

Wow that is quite a bit of binding when you think of it in inches, you can just make out the seahorse and the pink yarn is so pretty.

I see it, and love the pink you use, it matches perfectly with the azalea flower in your window ♥

When I clicked on the photo and enlarged it I could see the seahorse. Cute. Dish cloth or face cloth?

And why didn't I think of coordinating my crocheted cloths with my flowers??
