It's the perfect October mini project don't you think? This is very fiddly sewing as each of the little squares finish at .5" and each 25 piece block will measure 2.5" in the quilt. When working this small, there is no wiggle room and every step from cutting to sewing to pressing has to be exact.
Here are the first 4 blocks. Oh my goodness... be still my quilty heart! 💖
I'm loving it so far!
When the strips are used up, that will be how big the quilt will become. Total swoon!

That is a really exciting find and the finished mini will be adorable. I can't wait to see it.
One inch strips, how much fun!! The blocks are so cute.
This really will be a mini quilt. Have fun with it!
This will be so cute. I sure you can add to those strips though. Why not make a full quilt with scraps.
No scrap left behind!
Wow, I normally throw away scraps that small. You may inspire me to try using them. Your project is beautiful.
Tiny sewing! Looks great!
Ooh, you do like those little pieces. This will make a charming piece.

What a treasure to find. This will be amazing.
Oh yes, that will be delicious! Can't wait to see the finish!
Love, love, LOVE using up the smallest of the small scraps!!!
These are so sweet! I just saw a video where you sew strips together, then cut vertically to make them smaller to make blocks like that. It is something definitely on my to-make list.
Crazy tiny blocks but I was working on similar blocks today!only in nine patch format. The tiny nine patches will be the center of some stars. Post on this quilt to come...soon!! Glad you are back to regular posting, I have missed you!!
Gorgeous fabrics/colors! I can see why you're swooning!
these hidden treasures, always a pleasure to work with them, and for me seing them postet in a Blog Post. Great idea.
My clean up in the sewing room made me lose some blocks. And it was not a small pile. Wish I could find them.
I completely agree with the total swoon! So adorable!!
Also, I often operate the same way--when the strips are gone the quilt is done. :)
