Six more scrappy waffle blocks were made using up 60 little squares. On the computer photo these blocks look more grey than dark blue, but they are really blue frames. I love that I am still using up bits of the Y2K fabric... it just never goes away does it?! Do people even know what Y2K means anymore?!? LOL |

I have the same Y2K fabric! Just a fat quarter. I used some in Unity Which came home yesterday. Onto the binding.
Do you every wonder if far in the future, someone will be trying to date your quilts and the Y2K fabric will throw them off? I guess not as with all that's published, they'll be able to reference the other fabrics in your scrappy quits. I'm so tempted by Bonnie's leader and enders, but I'm trying so hard to not start anything that isn't on my "allowed" starts this year.

If I bought Y2K fabric, it is still in the depths of my stash. (Probably in the drawer with the envelopes from my Y2K Swap!) 60 scrappy squares in SIX blocks? Bring on a plate of Waffles to work your way through those scrap bins!!! They are super cute, too.
Fun blocks! I never had any Y2K fabric as novelties are not my usual fabrics, but it is surprising what scraps never seem to end! I did cut and make some of the new Easy Breezy 6” blocks—sew cute and I’m happy to have the 2” scrap drawer get lower . I’m going to make some of the 4” size too, for some placemats probably.
Your blocks are super! I have no idea what Y2K fabric is. Guess I'm not in touch. I can't even link my blue blocks up to So Scrappy's blue Saturday page.
I like those scrappy waffles, they would work well for leaders and enders. Finishing an old project before starting something new is such a struggle!
I have to spend some time cutting up leaders and enders too to do with Bonnie. The block looks simple and so many options for finishing a quilt with them. I hope to have a surprise for you tomorrow for slow stitching day!!

I only started quilting in 2014, so I don't have any Y2K fabric. But someday some will end up in my stash, somehow. It's just that insidious, I think. Your waffles look great! Tempting to start some...

I really like these blocks! Fun name and look.
I think I have used up or given away the last of my Y2K fabric, but you never know. A piece may surface when I least suspect it.
