Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We aren't Irish, but like to pretend we are so we can join the parties and eat green food. I finished hand stitching the binding on a little tabletopper just in time for the celebrations at my house today.
My regular readers will not be surprised to read about what I will be working on today...the same thing as "forever"!
I am happy to report that I have finished the hand quilting in block #6 of my "Journey of a Quilter", which means I have now finished quilting 2 of the 9 blocks. Parts of other blocks have been worked on, since I started in the centre and am working my way to the outside of the quilt. The texture of the quilting is so enticing, I keep running my hands over it and admiring the stitches...can't help myself!
What are you hand stitching today? Link up your blogpost and share your progress below.

Happy St Pat's Kathy! I know what you mean about hand quilting posts when your hand quilting a large project, but oh so worth it when you finally can do that final post. Nothing like a hand quilted quilt!
Love your St. Pat's table topper and enjoy seeing your gorgeous "Journey" every time you post about it!
Looking forward to the "reveal" of all your loving hand-quilting on the Journey!
So you are one of those honorary Irish, huh? Cute table topper and lovely Journey.
Love seeing your progress each week. It is amazing how little bits of time really add up. Enjoy the green food and drink today.
Oh, Kathy - Your quilt is looking so good - can't wait to see the wole thing all completed!!
Great progress. Every little bit feels so very good! I do that too, run my hands over the stitches and just enjoy the texture.:)
Happy St Pat's Day. Love your hand quilting.
Perfect little festive piece for the holiday.
I love to see your hand quilting--I just pretend it is me quilting up the quilt I should be working on. : )
I think the "stitch by stitch" block says it quite succinctly! Isn't it fun (and exciting) to watch a project piece come together?! I love how you described your tactile experience with it, too -- I am very much a touchy-feely person with my crafts and that always appeals to me, too! It's why I love fabric! :)
