Today is the day for playing with my orange scraps. In my hand I hold the prepared pieces for 10 new Alamo star blocks. Each clip holds the scraps to make 2 star blocks. I am going to sew these as my leader/ender project this month. I am thankful to Bonnie Hunter for publishing this inspiring book and helping me to organize my little scraps so I can make interesting scrappy quilts.

Spectacular! A special treat since orange is a favorite happy color of mine, too. Ohh so happy I dropped in.
Great use for those little clips! I also bought Bonnie's book and am making tons of little 4- patches and 9- patches to use in future projects. Your orange blocks are going to be great!
I was looking through that book last week! Love your prep work and how organized you are.
Love the Alamo stars. I like all the leader/ender projects going on in blog land. I just can't get the hang of working on two things at one time - a project and a leader/ender project.
Glad you are having fun with your Orange scraps. I see a bit of purple and green in there too. Yes, I entered the giveaway and have been going through the ABC's blog hopping. Now it's time to get some stitching done so I have something to show for DWM, right??
Those pieces looks so tiny.
That book was my first introduction to Bonnie--two years ago. It has been a game changer for me!
Your itty bitty blocks are amazing! Love your color combos.
Great start on the orange. Love how you have used the clips.
You always find such fun ways to use your quilting tools. Such cute little blocks. Have fun sewing them together this month.
What cute tiny squares. I'm looking forward to seeing them become cute little blocks.
Brilliant and organized, thank you for the book recommendation, think I'll have to get that one.
Your blocks never cease to delight me!
