Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party! We want to encourage you in the slow process of creating treasures by hand.
I have a finished wallhanging to share today! This wallhanging was a quick little mystery quilt from Buttermilk Basin at Easter time.
I worked on the binding while watching an educational seminar for work. I LOVE attending workshops on zoom because I can do hand stitching at the same time! I'm quite certain that I won't ever attend a workshop in person again - except for quilting ones of course!
I loved hand quilting this project and am so happy with how it turned out. It feels so great to be putting those last stitches into a project doesn't it?!
What are you hand stitching today? Since I've finished this project, I'll likely be doing some hand embroidery today. Link up your blog post below and share your hand stitching plans for today.

Congratulations on a fini!
Your wall hanging is so pretty. I liked being able to stitch when I was working from home. Enjoy your stitching!
One of the positive things that have come out of COVID are zoom meetings and being able to hand stitch while one 'attends' to business. This is a lovely little quilt.
It is a beautiful wallhanging. Glad you could do the last stitches during the online seminar. Enjoy your embroidery today.
That's a pretty wall-hanging, Kathy! I love the sweet colors. Hooray for a finish! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Congratulations on your lovely finish. I love to finish things up! Happy stitching!
that must be nice to be able to work on your hand stitching while on zoom! I think I would have enjoyed my office job more years ago if I had been able to bring hand stitching with me to work on - I had many down times where caught up on things I only had to answer the occasional phone call - I could have used some sewing then!
That is a fun block for a mystery quilt along. I have nothing in the works right now for hand work.
I'm particularly interested in the that corner and center block design. Looks like it would make a good full quilt block. Anyway, pretty colours together here Kathy and isn't it nice to have a finish!
Nice mini quilt finish! Hope you get to stitch outside today.
Nice hand quilting on the wall hanging. It’s such a nice homey look.
Pretty wall hanging! Hugs
Hi Kathy, what a cute pattern. I love how the flowers are essentially a wider pinwheel bock. It's lovely! Have a great week :-)
Hi Kathy,
Beautiful mini quilt. Love the colors
you used. Have a great day!

Yes! It does feel great to stitch in those last stitches! Your project is lovely!
