I am really enjoying this round of Moda Blockheads and using up lots of small blue scraps to make the 4.5" block size.
Block #12 is the beloved friendship star (pattern written by Deb Strain). Every sampler quilt needs one of these blocks. I worked hard on these two blocks to get the patterned fabric all going in the same direction.
Here are all my Moda Blockheads on the design wall. Such a variety of yummy blues! I think the top left block is too dark and might lighten that one up.

Your blocks are so beautiful together on the wall, Kathy.
It will be a beautiful blue sampler quilt.
Kudos on getting those directional fabrics pointing the same way. I know how hard that can be especially with hourglass units. Great job. Love seeing all the blocks together. It will be a beautiful quilt. Enjoy! ;^)
Pretty blocks and I can't imagine how long it took to get the fabrics all lined up! I always struggle with that.
I'm in love, love, love with your blue and white blocks. These are gorgeous!
And it reminds me to pull out my set of blue/white blocks and get them into a finished quilt top before they become an actual UFO.
Pretty blue blocks! This will be a lovely blue sampler quilt!
Your blue blocks are all so pretty together! These are such a neat variety of different blocks, too. Looks like you're really enjoy this project!
Loving the blue and white variety here.
This one will be a beautiful blue and white quilt. Great job 👍.
Fantastic selection of BLUE scraps, Kathy!!
Blue a White are a color combo I'm almost out of with my Bluebirds and Moda Block Challenge SAL's
Beautiful blues, this is going to be lovely.
Lovely! I always love blue and they will make a beautiful quilt.
Blue and white is a perfect color scheme. And all these lovely blocks finish at just 4.5 in.? Wow!
Pretty blue blocks! Hugs
Nice job on the blues. Unless you make another block as dark as the upper left corner block, you just might want to consider redoing it a bit lighter. Either that or put it front & center. Let it shine!
