Be adaptable! |
The blocks for part 6 HSTs and then part 7 spinning pinwheels were quite labour intensive. But using the bright pink was a great decision. It kept my interest and filled the sewing room with bright energy.
I am almost completely out of neutrals so am looking forward to the time when I can visit all my favourite quilt stores to stock up again.

Looking so good and yay for using up your stash. You certainly have a great reason to go fabric shopping once life returns to normal.
Love your colors! I'm so far behind on Unity, but I'm going at my own pace and enjoying it.
Your color combination is definitely one to cheer the dreary days of isolation. Good job!
I am SEW looking forward to seeing these cheerful blocks sewn into your Unity quilt, Kathy!!
Love those geese blocks and the pinks in the pinwheel look so happy. I hope you are able to go get some neutrals soon..... can't have you sitting there with nothing to sew!
That bright pink is definitely a happy colour. Almost out of fabric...oh no how can that be. Do you need an intervention or should I say an injection of fabric from points north!!?!?
Love your colours too... I wish you could sew all my flying geese from Frolic.. I'm still going
The energy of your spinning pinwheels is awesome. I'm the same... can't wait to get out there are get some bits and bobs of stash. Tokyo is supposed to "open up" soon so we shall see.
Sounds like you're really having fun with the QAL! That hot pink is so cheerful :)
