Scrap Dance Minuet Finished Top

Last week I posted a photo of my version of the mystery quilt top with a white border added. I still had many floral squares leftover, so I made a second border using up most of those squares, and a few flying geese to keep that design element.

The third and final border was a dark blue floral. This fabric was leftover from Grand Illusion and there was enough for a border and most of the binding. It's amazing how adding that last border made me like it even more, because it's a French General fabric that I really like from Le Bouquet Francais line.

So now it's time for pin basting and machine quilting!

Your border treatments really add zing to this quit. I'm just getting started putting my blocks together and still not sure I'm going to like it. We'll see.

The dark border really frames it so well. I love a floral on dark blue. So classic :)

These muted colors are beautiful and the addition of the geese in the border really makes the design pop!! and the final border that was darker than all other fabrics makes the whole quilt shine. Great job!
