I haven't done much slow stitching since I finished the binding on my Scrap Vortex quilt. But today I can't wait to get my project out, find my needle and thread, and get stitching. This is my last Life is Beautiful block and I seem to be dragging my heels on finishing it, which is really annoying. I'm ready to move on to the hand quilting part of making this quilt, but need the embroidery done first. The only way to get over this slump is to just start. So today some progress will be made!
One of the best parts of Slow Sunday Stitching is visiting stitching friends around the world and seeing what they are creating.
Grab yourself a cup of tea or coffee and start your Sunday with a big dose of inspiration!

Kathy, I love this embroidery block... I look forward to seeing how you will be quilting this fun quilt in the works too... once you are done with this block so you can finish it! lol
Not posting today but did want you to know I stopped in to see what was going on... slow stitching on the same projects so nothing new to report.. lol! I am getting some Netflix shows complete though! hahaha :) Will stop back in later to check out all the posts... enjoy your slow stitching today! Kathi
I feel there should be a fanfare to mark your last block! Hope you get it completed and look forward to seeing the next step in your project!
Slow down and Happy Stitching. Life is beautiful for so many reasons. Enjoy each little stitch.
Love your stitching! I will try to finish appliqueing the last side of my hexie quilt to the final border and then put it away while I think of what next to finish that quilt - I will start to do some more applique work today using hand dyed wool
Woohoo! You're so close!
I wanna see what you make with the cut away circles beneath the appliqué on this quilt! I've put in a couple of hours of big stitch quilting today, it's my first time hand quilting! I'm enjoying it! I can't wait to get better!
I love the sentiment of that block. Isn't it funny how when we are so close to finishing something we start dragging our feet, even though there are so many other wonderful projects in our future? Enjoy your stitching.
How nice to be on the last block at this point! :) Enjoy!
I just cannot seem to get a slow stitching project underway! So, I'll just read everyone else's for now.
It can be so bittersweet to get to the final piece on a big project like this, once you are done and begin the next phase you will have forgotten you dragged your heels a bit. I look forward to seeing this progress to the next phase.
I think you're dragging your feet on this final block because you don't want it to be over. It's a wonderful project and you will be thrilled when it is done.
No slow stitching for me today. I need to quilt a kid quilt so I can take it on a trip to Michigan and sew down the binding.
Yep...I'm enjoyed some slow stitching this morning too. Looking forward to seeing this all done.
That's a lovely block to finish the project. I always enjoy your slow stitching and finding out what everyone else is working on.
Kathy, I so look forward to the Slow Sunday Stitching linky party because so few of my friends slow stitch. It's nice to have a community where I can make friends with like-minded sewists! Thank you for hosting this party!
