Design Wall Monday

Nabby's Dowry is on my design wall today!

I spent more time fussing around about the fabric options for the sashing and setting triangles than actually sewing it together, but I am happy with how it is looking. I had plans to add a border, but it just didn't agree with my quilt, so I left it off.  I'm thinking about hand quilting this one since the homespuns make it so soft to work with, and it is a perfect fall project.
To see more design walls, hop over to Patchwork Times.
And then hop over to Sew We Quilt to see the batik themed quilts in the newest blog hop. I am still working away on my project, which I hope to finish in time to post on Wednesday.

The dark setting triangles complement the blocks so well. Good choice of fabric.

Now that's a stunning setting. Well done. It shows the blocks off perfectly.

I like the plaid for the setting triangles. Gotta get mine sewn together sometime soon too. Too many other quilts screaming to be started.

This came together beautifully, Kathy! Nice choices for sashing and setting triangles. I think you are right--it doesn't need a border.

Well, all your fussing with fabrics have paid off. It is striking! Hand quilting would coordinate nicely with the homespun. It may quilt quickly.
