Welcome to 2020!

Last night was a wonderful evening full of baby snuggling and hand stitching... what more could a person ask for to end the year on a positive note?!? Gone are the days of carousing and shenanigans, happily exchanged for moments of peacefulness and tranquility to start off a new year.
But today... all bets are off!

Sewing with friends circa 1953
Scrapdash is hosting a mystery project to bring in 2020 by sewing the day away. Sewing friends are coming over and who knows what we might get up to!

We have been getting together to greet the New Year for several years now and always sew a mystery quilt project. Here are three of my favourite New Year mystery projects: 2012,  2015 and 2018.

If you want to join us this year, click here for the link to the fabric requirements.

These are my fabrics. All you need is a charm pack (I'm using "Berry Sweet" by Wilmington) some neutral background fabric, two small pieces of accent fabrics and a border. The charm pack and border fabric were bought on the July Shop Hop, and the other 3 pieces were in the stash. If you have been quilting longer than a year, I'm certain you can easily find this in your stash. Come join us!

Happy New Year!

May 2020 be a year of good health, lots of quilting time, and  wonderful memories with family and friends!

Happy, Happy New Year to you too! So far I'm avoiding all the QALs this year. It's lovely to follow along but not have to keep up.:) lol
