walking foot straight line quilting |
This is Lori's most recent mystery quiltalong called "Almost Amish". My version is in civil war reproduction fabrics, so I'm calling it "Almost Reproduction"!
That title makes me smile :)
The quilting is all straight lines using the walking foot. I used a hera marker to mark a square shape to stitch in the black fabrics as I thought it needed a few extra stitches there.
This is finished quilt #18 for 2019 ... woohoo!

I love it, Kathy! Had I actually joined in as planned, I would have been doing mine in repros also. It looks great.
I laughed at your "can't say no" comment. But you have more finishes this year than I do!
That is a beautiful finish Kathy! Mine is still in the "simmering closet" awaiting the next time the solids bin is pulled out and border fabric chosen.
Congrats on your latest finish!!
It's always great to have a finish, yours looks great! You always seem to have such a lot on the go, as you say, you are "just a girl who can't say no". And why not, doing what you love!
What a fabulous quilt!
Your Almost Amish is lovely in the reproduction fabrics, Kathy! They give the design lots of personality! I just finished my version of it up this week, too - it was a really enjoyable project, wasn't it?
Beautiful!
Beautiful finish! Love the colours. Your post made me smile too. I'm sucked into projects. After seeing your last post and blog hopping the other participants I've started to make it!
What a nice quilt! I'm laughing at Jenny's comment, because when it comes to quilting, I'm just a girl who can't say no too!
Great finish. Love the green sashings on this one. I have been quilting up a storm too!
LOVE the colors you chose - and right? how can you say no>>>> ha ha!
Hurray for the finish! I say start two new projects to celebrate :)
