Well I survived the first Slow Sunday Stitching retreat day! It was so fun to meet with other hand stitchers and see their projects. I will write more about it on next Sunday's post.
Today on the design wall is the kit project that I have been working on. It is a pattern by Nancy Halvorsen called "Home Grown". I enjoyed piecing the word 'home' at the top. The 3 little Shoo Fly blocks were made from the corners cut off at the bottom of the hearts. Next I'll be piecing the two home blocks.

This just looks precious! Especially love the piecing to fill in between blocks.
