Slow Sunday Stitching

Happy St Patrick's Day! Since it falls on a Sunday this year, do you think we should probably do some hand stitching using some green thread or fabric or wool?!?

This week I finished another little Gail Pan embroidery design, but can't find the photo on my computer so I will show you what I plan to be stitching today... a snowman.

It won't be green!

Are you seeing any green where you live? Any signs of spring at all? Are you celebrating with the Irish today?
Link up your hand stitching project below and share what you are working on.

No green here, except mountain after mountain. Your little snowman is cute. Have a fun day stitching.

Your next stitchery is the wrong theme...I hope he does not encourage more snow to fall! Our witch hazel bush is blooming...a sure sign Spring will soon be here.

No green here (I wish). Most of my hand stitching is done Monday thru Friday, while I'm at work (lucky to get to hand stitch and get paid at the same time). Weekends are for getting machine stuff done now.

I am ready for spring. But, working on all those snowmen has to be done year round if you want them done. Just whisper in his ear to keep the snow to himself, LOL!

We have a lot of green here in Northern California after all the rain we have had. In fact, the moss on my brick patio is growing weeds I need to address, my flower gardens need weeding. Not complaining about the rain we so drastically needed! Love your snowman!

Our trees are blooming although slower on the hill this year. It really makes me feel better looking at those green leaves rather than the dead trees without leaves! We are all ready for Green!

I appliqued with green thread but went out for Mexican food, however I drank a green marquarita. Yum!

My daffodils and hyacinths are up about 4 inches so I hope to see some flowers, at least on the hyacinths in the next few weeks. It will be quite a while before anything else is green here on Long Island.

The only green in my sewing room wasn't hand stitching, it was my green Wild and Goosey blocks. Hope you made good progress on your snowman.

Saw the super moon over the coast and sea of Madeira last night. At home(Canterbury the birds are singing away, daffodils are in full bloom and now the forsythia bush is out too but cold temperatures. I am slow stitching EPP quilt of the crosses all week here.
