Aurifil's "designer of the month" for February is Natalie Barnes. She created a block pattern called Hanalei Garden and it was a doooozy to sew!
Wow it was a challenge. The instructions have you cutting 140 pieces for this 12" block. I combined some of the sections for a little less cutting. I also reversed the light and dark sections and like how it turned out.
Here are my 6 blocks from last year's DOM with the 2 from this year on the design wall. It will be an interesting sampler quilt for sure!
