Quiltbug Mystery

Did you start the new year by starting a new project? What better way to bring in the New Year than by spending the day in the sewing room?!?

I have 2 sewing friends over to sew the Quiltbug mystery and this is how far we got before our lunch break. We are enjoying some onion soup, crackers, cheese, hummus and homemade pickles.
I also enticed Ellen and Deanna to join in the fun... the more, the merrier!
So far, 2018 is fantastic!

it seems I used to follow the Quilt Bug - a long time ago was it a yahoo group maybe - something called the quiltbus? I went to the link you showed and it looked familiar.

You know how to bring in the new year! Love those cute blocks, and how fun to do it with friends!
Today I am spiffing up my sewing room, which during the holidays serves as Santa's hiding place, wrapping central, guest room, and cloak room during family parties. Time it was a sewing room again!!

I've been out of state for over 2 weeks, so, I'm just now getting caught up on blog posts. Whew! You've been busy. I used some of my re-usable grocery bags while out of state (always in the car). I finished the binding on a baby quilt, and did a tiny bit of embroidery one day, so, slow stitching happened early in my trip. Happy New Year!
