Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the US readers out there in blog land! I hope you have a wonderful day with family and friends celebrating your blessings.
We will be enjoying some of the U.S. television coverage today, especially the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade.

Did you participate in the Sew Sister's Canadian blogathon last week? It was fun to visit old blogging friends and to find some new blogs that I hadn't visited before. AND I won a wonderful package of flannel fat quarters, perfect for winter sewing. Thanks to all the participants for the fun and to Sew Sisters and to Kaufman for the fabric prize! This is what I'll be watching my mailbox for...woohoo!
I wasn't as lucky during the  100 Blocks magazine blog hop over at Quilty Pleasures, and didn't win a copy, so I went out in search of one for myself. Success!
And I just love this magazine so much that while I was there, I picked up an extra copy. So if you want to put your name in the "hat" to win this magazine, leave a comment on this post and I'll draw the lucky winner on my next Slow Stitching Sunday post. Good luck!

One more sleep until the mystery starts! There are so few things in life that are good surprises, and Bonnie's mystery quilts are so fun. If you have been hesitating, thinking you don't have the time or you already have too many quilts to finish, let me encourage you to go ahead and jump into the mystery fun.

The worst thing that could happen is that you hate how your quilt turns out and donate it to a worthy cause!
Best thing that could happen is that the mystery will encourage you to sit down and make time for yourself to enjoy some sewing at a very busy time of year. And maybe you will even end up with a fabulous surprise - a quilt that you love!!

Would love to win this mag... been watching all about it but haven't seen it yet in hard copy format.. only in blog land :)
One question... not PLANNING on doing the mystery this time as I have a lot going on but will next year for sure... I need a masculine quilt to make for my son :) Are you gonna do the Inklingo way or rotary cut... or decide after it has gone live??? Excited to watch this year and jump in next :) Thanks for blogging... and for offering the mag! Kathi

Thanks for the second chance to win a copy of the 100 blocks issue of Quiltmaker. I haven't been able to get out to the stores to look for it.
I have never done a mystery quilt, but hope to try one before long. I have lots of fabric, not many scraps as I have a long list of projects not yet started. Maybe I should finish a few, then I will have a good supply of scraps.

When I visit in blogland it's easy to forget that not everyone I follow lives in the US. Thanks for the wishes for a happy day. I hope to spend my afternoon doing some slow stitching while we all visit.

I always enjoy Blogathons & Hops - discovering new quilting blogs is fun. I won a pattern download (haven't received it yet). And I don't know if I'll be doing Bonnie's mystery quilt right now, but I'll be saving it for later. Thanks.

Congratulations Kathy on winning those gorgeous fabrics. I would love to win a copy of the 100 Blocks magazine. I have two of them from years past and amazingly used them many times. I always keep them separate from my other magazines so that I can find them easily. There is always something in them that will fit any idea that pops into my mind. Love them, thanks for a chance. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Big Hugs...

I would love to win that magazine! I keep looking at the Quiltville blog thinking "no, I shouldn't", but you may have talked me into it. I'm very weak willed when it comes to quilting! Happy Thanksgiving.

I would love to win the book! I am new to quilting and having lots of fun finding new blogs and learning from everyone else. I am thinking of doing the mystery, if would be my first, and I worry if I am able to do it.

Happy Thanksgiving! Lucky you with that stack of flannel goodness coming your way. Lucky us with this chance to win. I have been pulling my stack of fabric for the mystery but may start late. Will be printing the directions.

Thank you for the chance to win this magazine! I've been looking for it and have not found it locally yet. I loved Easy Street (just needs borders) and am thinking of doing the smaller version on this mystery.
I always look forward to Sunday Slow Stitching!

Thanks for the chance to win and for the laugh first thing this morning. 'One more sleep' had me chuckling for some reason first thing this morning. Have a great Thursday and try and get a little sleep before the first clue posts tomorrow.

Only one more day! Squeee... I can hardly wait! Of course by week 3 I start to fall behind, and by week 5 I'm in serious need of catching up, but I do have fun. I'd love to win the mag as I haven't found it yet around here. Thanks for the chance, Kathy, and congrats on the fabric win. Score!!

I caught just a bit of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. When the Meal is at our House I don't usually have any spare time to watch. Excited to wake up to the first Clue. Happy Eve of Celtic Mystery!

Hope I haven't missed the drawing. I just used an older issue for a block exchange with one of my guilds (pictures on Tuesday). Hopefully I'll get some not too slow stitching done today. Gotta get a binding sewn down, and some hand quilting done.
