Slow Sunday Stitching

I finished this adorable little mini quilt with scraps from my friends. The HST's were garbage rescued from the trash from one friend's (Diane) project, the border and backing was in a scrap bag (from Cynthia), and the batting scrap was from a 3rd friend (Helen).
It was a quick and fun project that I called "With A Little Help From My Friends".
The HST's are .75" finished, so the quilt is about 5" x 6". The binding was super quick to finish!
What are you stitching by hand this week? You can share your project by linking to your blog below.

Good morning, Kathy. Love your little quilt! I have started to make and save extra HSTs...your little quilt is the perfect solution for me to find a perfect home for them. I am linking up and heading to my quilting chair!

Sew cute. It is amazing how far rescued fabric will go. It just takes the time to put it all together.

It is official...you are certifiable!
5x6 that is sooo tiny. But I knowhow you like making minis but that is verging on micro mini.
I am hand quilting on my daughter's quilt today. I know I haven't done enough lately because my fingers are very sore.
Have a great day

So teeny! Love it, was it hard to assemble the blocks?

What a perfect little quilt!!! I LOVE pulling scraps out of the trash at retreats and sit-n-sews! I've lost count of the times I've put those small treasures in a quilt and giggled with glee as I did so :*)

I love your little quilt.

The list is making me smile--so far 3 cats in the featured images. I guess my cats aren't the only ones that are part of my slow stitch practice :-)

Such a sweet little creation, Kathy! Those are tiny HSTs, but I can't judge. I've done similar things. Though lately I've told myself I can't rescue EVERY scrap or my big projects will never get finished! : )

You've got to be kidding! I thought I was bad with using small scraps! And, the points are perfect. I can barely see well enough to match points on big HSTs! Cute quilt!
