Votes For Women Wednesday

The wonderful block patterns and stories remembering the women who fought for our right to vote continue over at Barbara Brackman's Grandmother's Choice blog.
This is block #18 called Cheyenne, commemorating that Wyoming was the first state to legislate the right for women to vote.
I fussy cut a bird block for the center, and used some squares from a Metropolitan Fair (by Barbara Brackman) Moda Candy pack that I received from a quilty friend. I love those little sweet treats!

I have been throwing pieces of Metropolitan Fair (from a charm pack and candy pack) into recent scrap projects--beautiful fabrics!
