Yes...Sweet Treats is still on my design wall, but progress has been made! All the rows are sewn together with the sashings and cornerstones.
It's not a clear quilt photo because my camera has a spot on the lens, and I used my daughter's camera to take this shot. I didn't realize how much better the focus is on my camera. The store where I purchased the camera (Henry's) has informed me that my extended warranty does not cover issues with the lens. That is called "cleaning the camera" (ie. not "repairs") and cleaning is not covered. But I am not allowed to take it apart to clean it, or I void the warranty! Haven't decided what to do about the camera, but whatever I do, won't be with Henry's!
Anyway, this is the last appearance of Sweet Treats for a while... it's heading for the UFO closet while some other quilt projects with deadlines take priority.
Hop over to Patchwork Times to see other Design Wall blog posts.
And you are cordially invited to come back tomorrow for my 1,000th blog post celebration!

Looks lovely
I keep thinking I want to try this pattern. I really like yours just have to find the right fabric.
Love the colors in this. Very happy looking!
that is just way too cute, love the cheery colors in this quilt.
What a joyful quilt........ Another winner....
It is annoying sometimes to have to put a project to rest because of other priorities.........
Really colorful and happy.
I love it! I bet it doesn't stay in the UFO closet too long.
Be careful with that UFO closet, things tend to disappear for quite a while. And I really do understand about deadlines. I have a couple of block swaps that have a nearing deadline and I have one finished 4 of the 24 blocks. Opps.
Your UFO list is dwindling. That's a good thing. My has kinda stalled this summer. It's been busy with the garden, family and vacations. Sweet Treats is refreshing.
Sorry to see that one put away -- it is such a cutie. It will be a quick finish though when more pressing projects get polished up.
lovely quilt, sorry about your camera, I'd contact the company- canon or kodak or whoever directly, talk to them and see what they say. You may have to pay for it to get fixed though... or if you are close to the warranty date, they could have a link on how to do it??
This quilt is darling. I'm looking forward to it coming out of the closet some time in the future. Perhaps you should contact the manufacturer of the camera to see what they suggest you do. That has got to be very frustrating.
I am crazy about this project - it's so, well, sweet. :-)
Maddening about the camera.
Sweet Treats just makes me grin! It is so bright and fresh. It makes me think of confetti, for some reason, and that means a celebration and that is something to smile about! : )
I'll be back tomorrow for you 1,000th posting. That is a lot of BLOGGING!
How did the spot get on the inside of the lens?? OPPS...The UFO closet could be renamed the "To be quilted" closet, you have a few Flimsies in there.
looking really good.
I had the same thing happen with my sewing machine. So technical when it comes to warranties.
So pretty! Love all the colors! :o)
Fabulous!
I love it!
Great quilt, Kathy. It definitely says "happy and summer and fun."
Warranties are fantastic products when they help us deal with problems with our purchases. When you deal with what Henry's is telling you, then screaming loudly is in order.
Good luck with that.
Congrats on assembling the blocks into a top. It looks like a happy quilt.
Your Sweet Treats project looks so happy. Sorry to hear of your camera problems. I'll be anxious to see what you find to work on next. Sandi
This quilt top is so pretty - I hope it gets out of the UFO closet soon!
Gorgeous quilt. Love all the bright colors. Are you not adding any borders?
So happy looking!
Looking better and better, even with a different camera.
Your sweet treats looks wonderful :)
What a beautiful quilt. The colours are so fresh. Sorry to hear about your camera. Hope you manage to get it sorted soon.
