Blog Milestone - 1,000 Posts!

Can you believe this is my 1,000th blog post!?!
That's a lot of thread and fabric used up, and a lot of writing about quilting that has gone on here since September of 2006! I started writing this blog as a way to keep track of the projects I was working on, and to document my quilting adventures. It hasn't changed much over the last 6 years... it's still all about the challenges and delights in my quilting adventures, with a sprinkling of posts about gardening, canning, blueberry picking, and recent rants about my new braces!
The quilt blogging world has brought me great joy over the years and I am thankful for the inspiration and connection that it has brought to my life.
To celebrate this milestone I am having a little draw for some fun FQ's, and my two newest favorite tools (binding clips and marking pins). Just leave a comment at the bottom of this post and your name will be entered in the draw.
Thanks to each of you who read my blog and have shared advice and encouragement over the years.

Hi Kathy,

Happy 1000th blog. I read your blog
everyday and enjoy all you talk about. You have kept us up to date on lots of new tools, web sites and other quilting news. Thanks for all the inspiration to keep on quilting and finish projects. I'm like you though, in that I like to start something new, so have lots of projects on the go.
Thank you and look forward to many more blogs.

Congrats on your anniversary! I have enjoyed all your blogs! I love seeing your projects and love your header pictures. I drool over blueberries as I grew up on the east coast of USA and miss those. Can't get good blueberries in California. Continued good luck in the future and enjoy the new smile when the braces come off! Butterfly George

What a milestone. Congratulations to you! I really enjoy following your quilting adventures--even the rants about braces. : )
Very fun fabrics, and very high end binding clips! I actually went out and bought a pack of those row markers after seeing them on your blog. Very clever! So if I win (I should think positively and say "when"), you could draw a second name to get those.
