Today you can get the pattern and start making the 1st block.
You can chose to have a plain piece of fabric, an appliqué or an embroidery in the centre of the block.
Embroidery is one of my favourite hand stitching activities, so that is what my block centres will be.

Most of my fabrics are from the Strawberry Jam fabric line, with a bit of grey fabric added. If you prefer to have your fabrics chosen for you, click here to buy the fabric kit that Jacquelynne has put together for this project.

Retirement makes me happy because I can spend every day now doing all the things that makes me happy.
What makes me happy? Stitching of course, love of family and friends, good food and clean laundry!
Quilting makes me happy. Just give me some fabric and a complicated pattern and I'm happy for days.
Having my morning tea outside on a sunny day, before all the busyness starts and it's still quiet.
I love being outside and watching and listening to nature it's beautiful. I enjoy making gifts for others especially when travelling and leaving something with those that I stay with. Reading your blog also makes me happy.
Spending time with my grown daughters makes me happy!

A nice quite weekend with lots of time for sewing makes me very very happy!
I do not know how I missed this give away. What makes me happy? waking up each morning ready to start the day again! And knowing that there really are a lot more nice people in the world then what the news shows on tv.
Looking forward to my return home next month and using this new Mystery Quilt pattern. Of course, I still have all the bundled fabrics and blocks from Save the Bees! to finish.

Getting to spend time with my four month old great granddaughter just makes my heart full. Such a joy. Hoping I get the chance to pass on some sewing skills if she is interested.
I really believe happiness is a state of mind. Through many past struggles (and there were many) I woke up one day determined to acknowledge every grateful and happy thing I saw or experienced that day. I was amazed at the end of the day of how many things I took for granted, and how often I let my challenges rule my days....well from that day forward I notice the good in everything, regardless of what is happening and it has truly made my life a happier place.
I get a special joy with my Grandaughter Chloe, watching my daughter Emma mothering and growing into an incredible woman...It has given me an inner peace and happiness that I am really thankful for.
Of course quilting makes me SO happy, I have a slight addiction to scraps and pretty fabrics, I most assuredly have a wonderful issue starting projects and a challenge finishing them lol.
Life is very good, regardless of its challenges...choose to see the wonder and beauty every day and soon you will just notice these things naturally and with a smile on your face and in your heart.
I am happy sitting at my sewing machine chain piecing the day away. Family, grandkids, friends and gardening also make me happy. Winning your prize would make me happy.
Finding an undiscovered treasure and bringing to the light of day makes me happy!
What makes me happy is my family and strolling through a fabric or yarn store to pick out something pretty.
A lot of things make me happy. Watching baby goats jump around makes me happy. Eating a good meal with my kids and family makes me happy. Playing with the grand kids, canoeing..going for a nice walk.

I'm happy doing scrappy - very tiny scrappy. Who am I kidding? Anything with needle and thread makes me smile.
I am most happy in the moments of creating something ,the medium matters not. A thought completed, an apron sewn, colours,textures of materials- of life. All of it coalescing to 'become'...
I cannot wait to start on this new project.
