Is it spring where you live? According to the calendar, it is spring here, and even though it is minus 4 degrees as I write this blog post, the robins are starting to return. That is a sure sign of spring!
Not only am I on the look out for returning birds, I'm also stitching birds! This is one of the "i stitch" blocks from Gail Pan. The sweet little bird is smaller than the needle!
I'll be stitching up those flowers using the lazy daisy stitch today.
What are you working on?

It's feeling much more like spring here now the snow has gone. Although I did see a snowman last weekend with a garland of daffodils! Your robins look much bigger than uk ones. And that little embroidery is so sweet.
We are on the other side of the world so it's Autumn down here in New Zealand. The days are still sunny, but the nights and mornings are getting cooler. That's a sweet little bird you are stitching.
Thanks for the perspective on that bird. I would have never thought that it was so small. It is truly adorable. I am currently looking out at half grass and half snow in my back yard. It doesn't feel much like Spring here.
Thanks for showing a pic of your returning robins.. we are having a few of those show up here even though we had snow! lol
Thanks for the linky ... enjoy your stitching!

It is cold here with some snow patches still on the ground but not as cold as where YOU are ! Robins are here as well...they started showing up towards the end of February. Your little bird stitchery is adorable.
love your stitching - it is warming up here and the tulips have opened - now rain this week - spring is always too rainy for us. Hope it warms up for you soon
It's definitely spring here, my sinuses have let me know in no uncertain terms. Hopefully you'll start seeing warmer temps soon. Love your little birdie. Happy stitching today.
What a cute little bird! I saw my first robin yesterday and there was another one in the backyard this morning.
Your little bird is so cute. You do love working on "small" things.
The robin sightings are a traditional sign of spring however I find that the red-winged blackbird has a better handle as to when spring arrives.
You are tempting me so much with these very cute little drawings of Gail's; embroidery is my first love!
It's supposed to be spring here in the UK but we are predicted snow for the coming weekend. Watching the birds they are starting to build their nests or repair them and the snowdrops and daffodils are in bloom. I love the little bird embroidery you're working on.
Lazy daisies are always a fun stitch. Perhaps they will bring warmer weather soon.
Love anything with birds, and that little embroidery is adorable. Chilly here today down in the Deep South.
Again, your embroidery never fails to make me sigh in appreciation! So beautiful! Thank you for sharing and for a great link up party!
We have Chickadees, cardinals and blue birds around now, and lots of pretty chirping. Its the Robins that I enjoy seeing right now as with them comes the promise of Spring.
