I finished sewing the 30 blocks for step 4 of Orange Crush. I enjoyed listening to CBC radio and leisurely sewing these blocks. However, I am bored with my colours and am really looking forward to the next step where I can hopefully start using my orange and blue fabrics, which are brighter.
I enjoyed surfing the mystery blogs and seeing some of the other finished blocks for this quilt. I have copied some of the blog links where other versions of the step 4 block can be seen. Grab a cup of tea and check these out... just click on the quilter's name:

Kathy, thanks for the links to the other Step 4 blocks. It's fun seeing the different choices that everyone made. They're all terrific; no matter what the color scheme. Your blocks are wonderful and would make a terrific quilt without any other blocks added.
I love your spinning star OC block. Those colors look great together. Lucky you - rhubarb. Rhubarb pie is my favorite. My kids don't like it. I am ashamed to say that makes me happy - more for me :)
I love the layout. That would make a great quilt as it is never mind the other steps.
love and hugs xxx
Those colors look fabulous together Kathy. Something draws me to deeper colored quilts. So rich and comfy looking.
Looks great! I finished mine today while watching a DVD of Jethro Tull live at Montreux. Not sure if that's proper quilting music! LOL
I like your blocks laid out. They look cool together.
Congrats on getting your blocks finished. I rather like the secondary patterns that emerge when they are all laid out together :)
