Slow Sunday Stitching

Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party!

I have had a bee in my bonnet recently to get some quilts finished. The thought won't leave me alone. I want to start 3 new quilts this summer and I am determined to finish at least 3 quilts before new ones can begin!!

I have been "working" daily on hand stitching some bindings. This is the grey binding - the quilt is called Princess Charlotte and was a Super Bowl mystery in 2021. It's time to be finished!

The next one is a brown quilt.  The top was finished in 2011 and it is still not a finished quilt. I dislike brown but it was a great scrap buster project, and it is a masculine looking quilt and will be perfect to donate. Way past time to get it done!

The third one is a blue binding on a quilt that I love and plan to keep. This was a mystery quilt from Meadow Mist called Mosaic Mystery.  This has such pretty colours and is perfect to work on in the summer. But all these quilts must get done hopefully before the end of June. Can it be done?!?

If so, the 3 new quilt starts will be a guild summer mystery, the new Meadow Mist Marigold, and the Fat Quarter shop's free christmas mystery called Jolly Tree Farm.

Are you stitching binding on quilts that are way past the time they should have been finished!?!? What are you hand stitching today?
