Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party! Take a few moments to set aside your machines, your devices and screens, and just take a deep breath... ahhh... so much better.
Now pick up your needles and fibres, and put a few stitches into your project. You will feel better in no time!
I am continuing to hand quilt my word meditation. Only 1 or 2 more crosshatch lines to stitch and then I will need to settle on a border design to quilt.
I'm also hand quilting my version of the
Buttermilk Basin mystery and have come to this pretty outside flower. I probably should have finished one project before starting the other, but as per usual, I didn't!

What projects are you hand stitching today? Do you like to have several on the go at the same time? Link up your instagram or blog post and share your progress with us.

I like to have several projects on the go just for a bit of variety. The quilting on your word meditation piece is looking lovely; as is your flower. The flower is such a pretty pattern. Love the bright and happy yellow.
Love seeing two of your hand quilting projects this Sunday, Kathy. Happy stitching.
You are an expert multitasker in the sewing room! Lovely hand quilting projects. Happy stitching!
Love seeing your pretty stitches! I think it's good to have multiple projects on the go - it gives you choices of what to work on depending what you're in the mood for. Enjoy your stitching today!
I show the quilt I have been hand stitching but it will be hexies today I think have a good Sunday
Oh, I definitely have more than one project on the go.
I love how your word meditation is turning out the quilting looks so neat. Have a peaceful Sunday.
I always have multiple projects in process... I never know what type of hand work I feel like doing so having things prepped and ready to pick up makes life easier! Binding today..... then I want to get back to my hand quilting.
Your word meditation is coming along nicely, I do like to have several projects going at once.
I always have multiple projects I am working on. Happy stitching!
I really like your quilting. I have several projects in the works all the time. It keeps me interested.
Variety is the spice of life--never a truer statement than for a crafter/sewist!
Hi Kathy,
Love your word meditation. So inspiring. The Buttermilk Basin block is so
cute...love yellow in a quilt, seems to make it shine more. Have a great day!
I am a 'multi - crafter', so I usually have a knitting project, a quilt and the current needlework project all on the go. I try to put in at least a few minutes on each one every day.
As you all know, I use a rotation for my needlework, five projects plus a SAL - and each project in the rotation gets 10 hours on it before I switch them out. The SAL is the Blackbird Designs Weekend SAL and it gets worked on the first weekend of each month, then put away until the next month. Then back to whatever rotation project I was working on.
I sometimes think I'd be more efficient I just worked on one project at a time, but I can't stop knitting, can't stop stitching and don't want to let my quilt linger either. So having at least one thing in each "category" works well for me.
Hi Kathy, your word meditation piece looks great! I actually did a few EPP hexies today :-) I'll be working on my Biodiversity piece this week I hope. Have a great week.
