Slow Sunday Stitching

Welcome to the weekly hand stitching party!

It's time to take a deep breath, pick up your needle and threads, and put some stitches in your project.

I have made a little progress with my embroidery project. The letters, and the martini glass and shaker are stitched and today I hope to have enough time to finish it.

Progress is also coming along slowly on hand quilting my old UFO. Here is the green star almost finished. That one background fabric is quite a doozy - I wish I would have used the backside of it instead! Oh well, just keep stitching! 😄

What are you hand stitching today? Link up your blog post and share your project with us.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

I have missed quite a few slow stitching days. I am trying to get a quilt hand quilted off the poles. I have had a hard time to sit down and get to it. It is difficult to sit stitching quietly, I think too much and get sad.But little by little I am getting it finished.

I believe it was your wonderful influence that got me started hand embroidering tea towels - and I love the process! Your martini one is so cute! Happy stitching as you make progress on your UFO!

I love those tea towel designs and have two on the go, rather slowly, for my granddaughters.

Another lovely teatowel design. They always have such fabulous sentiments printed on them. Enjoy your stitching. Perhaps a martini in the other hand....just for good measure. =)

Your 'shaker' project is really cute! I like fast finishes ... it gives me the sense of completion I need to feel okay about the "slow" projects!! Your hand-quilting is coming along nicely! :)
