The colour for the Rainbow Scrappers this month is red and I have plenty of red action going on in my sewing room this week. With my smallest of scraps, which are 1" squares or strips I made a few more red blocks for the never-ending Omigosh project. The neutral squares are 2". I have been making these blocks for 3 years now, and am hoping to reach the half way mark by the end of this year.

Love, love, love your OMG progress! It's a patience thing for sure when it comes to that quilt. I made ONE block... LOL. Have a great weekend.
Love this red treasure! Beautiful blocks!
Unbelievabley small pieces in this--no wonder it's called "OMyGosh"...very pretty in those reds and creams...1" squares ;000 really??? isn't the back all seam allowances?? I don't know how you do that....hugs, Julierose
These are adorable.
I've purchased this pattern but haven't been brave enough to start. I've decided I have to finish my postage stamp quilt first. I really like the red 9-patches. Blessings, Gretchen
Reaching the half way mark this year?!! OMG! alright! I love that quilt and it is on my to-do list, but after reading your post I am more like ... hmm... maybe not gonna do that quilt, lol. I'll just keep admiring yours instead. ;^)
Three years and going strong. Always great to have a project that uses up those 1 and 2 inch strips.
I'm glad you said how long you've been working on these! Yikes they are tiny but cute:)
OMG for sure, this will be fun when you're done. Happy quilty Saturday!
I love these blocks.
Love seeing this one pop up with progress.
Tiny blocks sure do take a long time. They are so worth it though -- highly adorable.
I'm making Tiny Nines, too. This is my second year now. Thanks for the reality check, as I had NO IDEA how long this project would go on!!
I recently acquired that pattern from a free box -- didn't realize the size of the blocks till I got it home! Yours are looking very nice.
Those are really neat blocks! I admire your patience as you work on making enough for the whole quilt!
That is dedication! Nice!
Love your little OMG treasures. Little takes time... Way to persevere! It is always the littles that get the Blue Ribbons at the fair. They are always amazing. I Made my first block for the rainbow scrap challenge this month. It was so fun. Hoping I can stay on the wagon. But now wondering if I want a whole quilt using red and white with the block I made. And that is why the UFO pile keeps growing! Janita
I love your OMG blocks!
Beautiful. There is something special about red and white together.
Amazing piecing of such small scraps into such a lovely complex overall look.
Love these little blocks--and I can't believe your patience!
Your red Omigosh blocks make my heart pitter-pat! There's something wonderful about red & white together!
So darned cute!
This is going to be an awesome quilt. Can't even imaging working with such tiny pieces. You go girl!
