Not any more!
I am going to be brave and make a decision. Any decision.
Because the votes for the Temecula quilt background were very unhelpful because they were pretty much evenly split for all the option, I went right ahead and decided to use the ever popular "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" decision making technique.
White is it!
I got to work sewing the inside section together and organizing the border blocks. I wish I would have made more red blocks, but that's okay. I think I will use red for the inner border and the binding, like the sample quilt.
Breathe. Sew.
I'm not building a nuclear bomb... just a quilt!!

Love the decision you made! I decided that this year I was going to make more projects without patterns...more liberated quilting projects. I want to push myself to try new things... I think you found the magic with your little quilt,

The only way to grow, both as a person and as a quilter, is to work outside our comfort zone. That's one of the many things friends, both in person and on blogs, are for.... encouraging us to get out of our comfort zones.

Wise advice! I'm confident that whatever you've chosen, it will be simply beautiful. It's certainly looking fantastic so far, and the additional pop of red sounds perfect!

WHHHHHHAAAAT? You make a piece of junk?!! No way! Even if you try! I mean, yep sometimes the quilt doesn't come out EXACTLY the way we meant it to be, but we still love it and someone adopts it as favorite (if not the maker herself!). I made one for my son a long time ago and I think it is the worst one that I have made (still) and he loves it ... to pieces. Literally!! LOL. But I digress. Your quilt is a cutie so far and can't wait to see it done. So please don't hide it in a closet.

The white blocks make your pieced blocks stand out so much better. Red for an Inner border sounds like a good choice too. Sorry to make you waffle. I like the hearts in the border too.

It looks great. The EMMM technique is a very powerful one. It's hard to go really wrong with a quilt, you just end up with a different version.
